CHILDREN
Looking for a fun and educational way to wrap up the summer? This family-friendly learning experience is the perfect outing before the school year begins! The location features a brand-new playground, an exciting slide tower, ziplines, and child-friendly spaces—all equipped with convenient restroom facilities. It’s a great way to make lasting memories together!
“The vision for the play area was inspired by Métis Culture and designed and built by a Métis team. The playground plan is a scaled-down version of the regional geography: a “sand river” divides the playground from a natural landscape to the East and River Lots to the West. A zipline represents Gabriel’s Ferry that carries you across the river. A Métis skiff, a traditional form of boat, is found on the river.”

Unlocking Pharmacists Clinical Capacity: A Time and Motion Study to address Canada’s primary care crisis
Over 6.5 million Canadians lack a primary care home; the equivalent of 22,283 family physicians (44 million clinician hours) are needed to address this gap.
Meanwhile, unpublished private Time and Motion studies done by members of our team report that the current traditional pharmacy workflow, conceived before the era of expanded scope, restricts community pharmacists to spend only 4 minutes an hour or 7% of an average workday on tasks that require their licence.
This baseline study’s aim is to document the gross underuse of pharmacists’ clinical capacity and related inefficiencies, and to highlight the need for pharmacy owners and operators to modernize.

20th Reunion
Pharmacy Class of 2005
The Pharmacy Class of 2005 celebrated its 20th reunion with a heartfelt and nostalgic weekend in Saskatoon. The event began at the University of Saskatchewan’s Health Sciences Building, where the group was warmly welcomed by Dean Jane Alcorn. She offered a guided tour of the impressive new facilities now housing the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition. For many in attendance, the modern labs, classrooms, and learning spaces stood in striking contrast to the more modest rooms they remembered from their time in Thorvaldson.
