You will have seen the message to the University community about COVID precautions for term 2. Included here are the details specific to the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition.
- The start date for term 2 has been postponed to January 10 for years 1 through 3 in both the pharmacy and nutrition programs. Further updates on the academic schedule and start date of exams will be provided later.
- All didactic/lecture-based classes will be delivered remotely starting January 10 and will continue remotely until January 24 while the risk of the omicron variant is evaluated. However, students should expect to transition back to face-to-face delivery in late January or early February. We do not expect the entire term to be delivered remotely.
- All LABS will be delivered in person (i.e. face to face) and students are expected to attend in person.
- There will be no delay in clinical placements for year 4 pharmacy and nutrition students. The original schedule will be maintained.
If you are unsure of a specific course you are enrolled in, check Canvas or with the coordinator for that course.
The PRT continues to monitor the situation closely. There is a planned communication prior to December 31. If there are any changes to the above plan, we will notify students immediately.
We strongly encourage you to obtain your COVID-19 booster prior to returning to campus in January.
Have a safe and enjoyable holiday season.
