Through his leadership and mentorship, he has also helped nurture pharmacopeial expertise and countless volunteer leaders.

Dr. Gorecki is the sixth recipient of the Beal Award, presented by the USP Convention to a person who has made outstanding contributions to public health while serving as a USP volunteer, either on an Expert Committee, through collaboration as a USP Convention Member, or by serving on the USP Board of Trustees.
