Dr. Christine (Chris) Mills is a registered dietitian who completed her Ph.D. in Aging & Health at Queen’s University in June 2023. Between September 2023 and October 2024, she was a Provost’s Interdisciplinary Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Waterloo in the Nutrition and Aging Lab led by Dr. Heather Keller. Christine’s research examined nutrition risk in older adults and the nutrition education needs of older adults and interprofessional healthcare providers and trainees. Her dissertation explored nutrition risk in community-dwelling adults at midlife and beyond using data from the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging. Christine completed her undergraduate studies in applied human nutrition at the University of Guelph, and her Master of Public Health in nutrition and dietetics and dietetic internship at the University of Toronto. She has work experience in interprofessional primary care, primarily in Community Health Centres, and in public health. She has previously taught courses in introductory nutrition, human health and nutrition, nutrition and aging, and aging and health.
