Pharmacy alumni reconnect during multi-year reunion at USask
Usask Pharmacy
Alumni from the University of Saskatchewan (USask) College of Pharmacy classes of 1968 to 1974 gathered in Saskatoon from Sept. 18-20, 2026, for a multi-year reunion celebrating friendships, shared memories and their enduring connection to the college.
The three-day event brought alumni together to reconnect with classmates, revisit campus and reflect on the relationships formed during their pharmacy education.
The reunion began Friday with a tour of the Canadian Light Source, Canada's national synchrotron research facility located on the USask campus. Alumni then gathered for an evening reception at Hudson's Pub, providing an opportunity to reconnect and share stories.
On Saturday morning, attendees returned to campus for a tour of the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, led by Ed Krol, interim dean. The tour gave alumni a chance to reflect on the college's history and see firsthand how the campus has evolved over the decades.
Saturday evening's celebration at the Park Town Hotel included a reception and dinner, where classmates continued reconnecting and celebrating their shared experiences. The reunion concluded Sunday with a brunch before alumni departed for home.
Representing graduating classes from 1968 through 1974, attendees demonstrated the lasting connections between pharmacy graduates and their alma mater.
The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition is proud to welcome alumni back to campus and celebrate the people, experiences and traditions that continue to connect generations of graduates.
