CoPN Alumnus makes waves from Canada all the way across the pond

Venessa Liang is a Chinese Canadian pharmacist based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and has been specialising in oncology since 2019. She graduated from the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan in 2017.

She’s been in the spotlight lately, featured in an article on the CBC website and popular UK community - Chemist and Druggist, featuring her in an article on the C+D website. Links to the full stories on the respective websites are accessible below. 

Liang’s introduction to food comes from growing up in her family’s restaurant, and from there she’s “been baking my entire life”. It led her to baking cakes to an incredibly high standard, often baking signature pieces for weddings centred around her specialty of buttercream. Liang also appeared on Canadian TV series 'Great Chocolate Showdown'
