Erin Yakiwchuk joined the College in May of 2019. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at the U of S in 2006, her pharmacy practice residency (ACPR) with Alberta Health Services (Edmonton) in 2007, and her MSc in clinical pharmacy at the U of S in 2012. She is a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist.
Teaching
Erin teaches pharmacotherapeutics in the PharmD program, primarily content related to geriatrics. She also teaches a Year 3 elective course on managing pharmacotherapy in older adults.
Clinical Practice
Erin practices as a pharmacist with the Geriatric Evaluation and Management Program at Saskatoon City Hospital.
Research Interests
Research interests involve investigations into optimizing the health and function of older adults, through optimizing pharmacotherapy as well as providing team-based multidisciplinary care.
