Each year, awards are presented to our graduating students at the spring convocation ceremony and other events throughout the day. While we were unable to celebrate in person this year, our new graduates received the following awards in June.

Pharmacy Awards

Robert Martin Prize and Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals Gold Medal: Ghita Benadballah 
Most distinguished pharmacy graduate; highest average in four years of program.

Campbell Prize: Danielle d'Entremont
Second most distinguished pharmacy graduate; second highest average in four years of program.

Class of ’56 Memorial Scholarship: Lara Carlson
Most exemplifies leadership qualities among peers, high academic standing, vote by class to recommend to scholarship committee.

Class of ’59 Pharmacy Award: Japheth Bool
Leadership and high academic standing, vote by class to recommend to scholarship committee.

Mark C. Fallon Book Prize: Joshua Nurkowski
Pharmacy resident with highest four-year average who does not hold another award.

Orest Buchko Hospital Pharmacy Award: Japheth Bool
Awarded to a graduated student pursing hospital pharmacy.

 

Nutrition Awards  

Rutter Medal: Ken Mullock
Most distinguished nutrition graduate, based on academic achievement and leadership.

Ruth Gerrand Prize: Julie Anne Beitel
Most distinguished academic record.
