On December 15th, Shannon Boklaschuk, a campus journalist, interviewed EL Office staff and students to discuss the 2022 Kindness Calendar initiative
The EL Office is proud to share that the inaugural Kindness Calendar initiative was a huge success. We were able to create personalized hampers containing food, personal items, and activities for 41 individuals and families. In total, over 60 bags and boxes were delivered to Global Gathering Place on December 14th. With the incredible generosity of those who donated gift cards or money, we provided 45, $25 gift cards for Global Gathering Place to disperse as they teach newcomers to Canada how to shop in Canadian grocery stores.
We are so proud of the kindness and generosity of our College of Pharmacy and Nutrition students, faculty, staff, and their families. Thank you to all who donated and helped with this initiative.
