Trans Inclusive Healthcare Series

Course Information

This course consists of two sections that will review fundamental concepts of equity, diversity, and inclusion with a focus on Trans-Inclusive healthcare. The first section consists of five self-directed online modules that will provide an overview of trans-inclusive healthcare, hormone therapy, mental health care, surgical referrals, and the roles of the family physician in trans healthcare. The second section will be an interdisciplinary virtual panel to cover frequently asked questions.

Target Audience: Family physicians, specialist physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, mental health professionals, pharmacists, physiotherapists, residents, researchers, health sciences students, and other health care professionals.
